Free entrance to refugees

Tekniska museet offers free admission to people who have fled their home countries and are seeking protection in Sweden.

There are more important things than visiting a museum. But we also know how much it can mean for families facing difficult circumstances to find moments of normality, play and curiosity. A place to spend time together, share experiences and take a break from everyday worries. Tekniska museet is a welcoming space where everyone can feel at home.

An LMA card issued by the Swedish Migration Agency is valid for free entry to Tekniska museet. During the ongoing invasion of Ukraine, visitors from Ukraine can also use their Ukrainian passport.

We support our colleagues in museums and other institutions who protect cultural heritage that risks being damaged and lost in war.
